While each program has its own distinct goals and benefits for students, all the programs aim to:
- Educate and excite students about careers in the health sciences
- Provide resources to strengthen students’ academic skills in math, science and both verbal and written communication
- Ensure informed decision-making while pursuing the health career of their choice
The Division for Health Sciences Diversity serves as a central resource for the development and implementation of diversity initiatives that supports the mission of the health sciences schools at Virginia Commonwealth University.
